Account Verification
All licensed bookmakers within Australia are required to complete mandatory identification validation on all customers as stipulated by the Federal Government of Australia. At CrownBet we have made this process as simple as possible for you.
At CrownBet we will attempt to verify all customers electronically using Equifax. CrownBet.com.au uses the secure services of Equifax Solutions to run an ID check on the details you provide when you first join.

1. What is Account Verification?
Any person that has an account registered with an Australian Bookmaker is required to complete customer identification within 14 days of first transacting on the account or prior to any withdrawals being processed, as stipulated by the Federal Government of Australia. At CrownBet we have made this process as simple and easy as possible.
*Some account holders may be asked to provide identification before 14 days, this is at the discretion of the Customer Security Department.
At CrownBet we will attempt to verify all customers that reside in Australia electronically. Should the Equifax ID validation service not be successful you are required to verify your identity by providing certified copies of your identification.

Please ensure that all documents are valid (Any documents which are expired will not be accepted).
Clear legible copies should be made of the original documents. Usually the copies of licences and passports will need to be enlarged to 200%.
Clients should print their name and Username on copies of the original documents and sign the document copies in front of the Certifier.
The Certifier should then write the following on the document:
'I certify that this copy is a true copy of the original document that I have sighted'.

22 Police officer
23 Sheriff’s officer
24 Teacher employed on a full‐time basis at a school or tertiary education institution

4. Card Verification
Please note: A copy of the account holder's Credit Card may need to be submitted to CrownBet before a withdrawal can be processed, If requested by our Customer Security Team.
Before sending in a copy of your card please cover the middle eight digits on the front of the credit card.
Should the copies be illegible, you will be asked to re-submit your identification until all details are clearly legible. (Note: Copies of licence and credit cards should be enlarged to 200% and lightened prior to faxing.)

Please note that you will only be required to supply this information once. However, if you register additional cards on our system we will require copies of these cards as well.
We reserve the right to hold funds for 60 days if we are not satisfied with the identification details received from the client.
NOTE: If the account activity meets certain levels in the future, CrownBet may be required to obtain additional information. Information about any additional requirements will be advised if/when it is required but may include certified copies of information previously supplied to CrownBet. Failure to supply such additional information may result in the CrownBet account being suspended.
