4. Official Results/ Dead Heats

An official result for a particular event ('Official Result') is final for the purposes of Us determining the outcomes of bets and distribution of dividends ('Settlement'). Any corrections or amendments to an Official Result that are made subsequent to Settlement will not affect that Settlement.

An Official Result is the result reported by the official governing body for a particular sport .

The podium position in Grand Prix racing events and the medal ceremony in athletics events or any similar official ceremony or presentation in other sports are to be treated as the official results for such events.

Where we are of the reasonable view that no official result is available for an event, the result will be:

  1. determined by NTRC, whose verdict will be final; or
  2. determined by Us in accordance with our reasonable opinion.

Unless We advertise alternative terms, the Official Result for a bet placed on the outcome of an entire league or competition rather than on an individual game (Outright Bet) is determined by the player or team that lifts the trophy for that league or competition.

Unless We advertise alternative terms, the Official Result for a competition in which competitors are eliminated in progressive rounds (Knockout Competition) is determined by which competitors qualify for the next round. If a match in a Knockout Competition is drawn and replayed, bets will be settled on the result of the replayed match.

If an Official Result is a dead heat or draw between two competitors, the dividend paid for the selection of an outcome in relation to competitors will be half the face value of the wager (stake included). If an Official Result is a Dead Heat between more than two competitors, the dividend paid will be determined by multiplying the face value of the wager by the number of official dividends to be paid and dividing that amount by the number of competitors declared in the dead heat. These rules comprise the Dead Heat Rules.

5. Pre-Post Bets

Pre-Post bets are accepted on the basis that a bet will stand whether a competitor participates in an event or not. If the competitor does not participate in the event, the competitor's outcome for that event will be taken to be a loss.

Even if a Selection has not been entered in an event (for example, a horse in a race), providing there was the possibility that it could have been entered at a later stage, a bet made in relation to the event will stand.  If a competitor on whom You have bet (Selection) has taken any part in the event once it has officially started and then fails to complete such an event for any reason, Your bet will be settled as a loser.

Any bet placed on a Pre-Post Selection before the entries have closed will stand.

A Selection will only be deemed void if an event is declared void or abandoned.

Where the above conditions apply to a Selection in a Pre-Post multiple bet, the Selection in question will be treated as a non-runner and the bet settled at the Pre-Post prices laid on the remaining selections.

In the event of a winning bet being placed on an event in which a different player or team or runner is withdrawn, we may apply refunds and deductions as per Our deduction chart. We will determine the price of a withdrawn runner as at the time the wager was struck.

6. Multiple Bets / Related Multi Bets

A Multi-Bet is a bet that selects 2 or more legs in a single bet. The final dividend for a Multi-Bet is the product of all winning legs in the bet. For example, a winning bet for Selection 1 at $4.00 and Selection 2 at $5 results in a final dividend of $20 ($4 X $5).

If a Selection is scratched, abandoned, or does not start for any reason, We may recalculate the final dividend excluding that leg if the leg is not for an “All In” betting event.

A Related Multi-Bet is a bet where legs have some form of relationship between each other (e.g. Hawthorn Hawks in a Head to Head into Hawthorn Total Points). We reserve the right to void and refund a bet if legs are related in a Multi Bet.

The maximum payout for a Multi Bet for a racing/sports or a combination of both is $250,000. It is Your responsibility to ensure You stake accordingly to the limits.

Extra Multi Bet Types:

  • Double - A bet on two selections, both of which must win for the bet to be successful.
  • Treble - A bet on three selections, all of which must win for the bet to be successful.
  • 4-fold - A bet on four selections, all of which must win for the bet to be successful.
  • Trixie - A wager on three selections that consists of four separate bets: Three doubles and a treble.
  • Yankee - A wager on four selections that consists of 11 separate bets: Six doubles, four trebles and a 4-fold.
  • Super Yankee - A wager on five selections that consists of 26 separate bets: 10 doubles, 10 trebles, five 4-folds and a 5-fold.
  • Patent - A wager on three selections that consists of seven separate bets: Three singles, three doubles and a treble.
  • Lucky 15 - A wager on four selections that consists of 15 separate bets: Four singles, six doubles, four trebles and a 4-fold.
  • Lucky 31 - A wager on five selections that consists of 31 separate bets: Five singles, 10 doubles, 10 trebles, five 4-folds and a 5-fold.
  • Lucky 63 - A wager on six selections that consists of 63 separate bets: Six singles, 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 4-folds and a 6-fold.

7. Enhanced Prices

From time to time We may offer an enhanced price for multiple bets, such as doubles or trebles. If any of the named selections does not compete/scratched such selection will be deemed void. For example, a treble with a selection that does not compete/scratched will be settled as a double on the remaining Selections. The prices for the remaining Selections will be based on the advertised prices for the individual Selections at the time the bet was placed and not the enhanced prices.

Multiplied prices do not normally apply for the same Selection to win more than one event. However, a combined price may apply to selected doubles, trebles, accumulators, etc. For example, a combined price may apply for bets on:

  1. Chelsea to win the Premiership and the FA Cup; or
  2. Tiger Woods to win all four Major golf titles.

If a combined price was taken for the same Selection in two events and the Selection does not take part in one of them, the bet will be settled as follows:

  1. Markets offered Pre-Post will be clearly marked and our Pre-Post rules apply.
  2. If the Selection in the first leg of the multi is withdrawn, that Selection will be treated as a non-runner and the bet will become a single/multiple for the remaining Pre-Post event(s). The bet will then be settled based on the price and place terms available at the time the bet was placed (normal Pre-Post rules apply).
  3. When prices on different Selections in the same event are advertised, these cannot be combined in accumulative bets where the outcome is related. The only exception to this is where special prices are made available from time to time (for example, a scorecast on a football match). If such a bet is accepted in error, the bet will be void and the stake returned to Your account.

8. Venue Changes & Abandoned Matches

If a Selection is no longer playing at the venue advertised your bet will still stand unless the venue has been changed to the opponent’s venue. In the case of international matches the venue must remain in the same country.

All bets on the outcome of a match will be void unless there is an Official Result for a match that is abandoned before Full time. 'Full time' for a specific sport is determined by the governing body rules for a sport.

Bets on all markets where an unconditional conclusion has been reached will stand. For example, in football matches, 'first goal scorer' bets will stand if a goal has been scored notwithstanding that a match is abandoned.

9. Maximum Payouts

The maximum daily payout on any bet, or bets, including Pre-Post is AUD250,000. This limit refers to the total return on the bet, excluding the original stake. In the event that a multiple bet has been placed, the maximum payout limit remains at $250,000 for any individual multiple bet or combination of multibets.

Where we have genuine reasons to believe You have been acting together with a group of persons, the maximum payout limits will apply to that group of persons. Where a group of persons have backed the same combination of Selections, including where placed in a series of bets, at a range of prices, over a number of days using different betting Accounts in apparent collusion, we reserve the right to limit the total payment of all those bets combined to the one single maximum payout in accordance with the maximum payout limits.

Tournament, match and group betting will be settled on the player achieving the highest placing at the end of the tournament including any play-off holes played. This will apply, even if both (or all) players ‘miss the cut’. The Dead Heat Rules apply to any official tied results where a playoff is not played.

For Player to lead at the End of Any Round betting, if a player tees off in round 1 all bets will stand. Players do not have to complete all four rounds for bets to stand and the dead-heat rule is not applicable

b. Tournament Group Betting

If a player posts a score but is later disqualified, all bets will be settled on the score that the player initially posts for that round.

Odds for a tie are offered in mythical 2/4/6 ball betting; therefore, in the event of a tie bets on both players/groups are losers and bets on the tie are winners

a. Bets Settlement

All bets on ice hockey matches will be settled on the official results and statistics provided by the relevant league’s governing body.

If a match is abandoned, all bets are void except for those that have already reached an unconditional conclusion.

All outright markets include playoffs unless stated otherwise.

b. Pre match markets

Overtime (including any subsequent shoot-out) counts for all markets unless stated otherwise. In the event of a shoot-out, the winning team is credited with one goal and this counts for all markets where applicable.

c. Specific Markets

Money Line: At least 15 minutes of official time must elapse in the 3rd period for bets to stand.

60-minute markets are settled on 60 minutes of play. Overtime and shoot-out goals are not included.

65-minute markets are inclusive of all overtime and shoot-out goals where applicable, and the one goal rule applies to these markets.

Game Totals/Period Totals/Team Totals: The game total result is the combined goals for both teams inclusive of overtime and 'shoot outs'. At least 15 minutes of official time must elapse in the 3rd period for bets to stand, unless the total is already over. In the event of the total goal(s) being the exact amount where no exact price is offered, all stakes are refunded. Period Goals only apply to that specific period and the entire period must be played. For 3rd period lines, overtime does not count.

Proposition (‘prop’) markets: Overtime counts for all proposition markets, except for those that are based on specific periods of play. At least 15 minutes of official time must elapse in the 3rd period for bets to stand.

A puck line is a bet where a handicap is given to a Selection. The result used for settling is the match result adjusted for the handicap line available at the time the bet is struck. Player(s) prop markets: The respective player(s) must start for bets to stand. Overtime counts for all proposition markets, except for those that are based on specific

If a match is not played on the scheduled date all bets will be void.

b. Period Betting - 20 mins only

Each 20-minute period is treated as a separate ‘mini-match’ and therefore Your Selection must score more goals than the other team within the chosen period to win. Any existing score in the match is not carried forward, and so for the purposes of period betting, every period is considered as starting 0-0, as no goals have yet been scored in the period. For example, if Your selected team wins a match 2-0, scoring in the 2nd and 3rd periods, the period scores would be 0-0, 1-0 and 1-0. If you had bet on the team to win “1st Period Betting - 20 mins only”, although Your team won the match, the winning Selection for Period 1 would actually be “Draw”.

c. Medal Markets

'Medal Markets' includes the Summer and Winter Games, Commonwealth Championships and similar tournaments.

‘Leader After One Lap’ wagers are determined by the first driver to cross the start/finish line after one classified race lap. The warm up lap does not count. If the race begins under the safety car or one lap is not completed all wages are voided.

The ‘Will There Be A Safety Car?’  market will be determined as ‘Yes’ if at any time a safety car is required on the track during the official race proper. If the race starts under a safety car, the market will be determined as ‘Yes’. Should the race finish under the safety car but the winner crosses the line before the safety car is required, the market will still be determined as ‘Yes’.

Wagers are paid on podium presentation and are final. No subsequent penalties, disqualifications or point deductions will be taken into account.

Match and Group betting is determined as per the official race result at Podium Presentation. If a driver fails to complete the race the other driver will be declared the winner. If both drivers fail to complete the race, the driver who completes the most classified laps will be declared the winner. If both drivers fail on the same lap the result will be determined by the relevant governing body’s official result. Both drivers must start the race for bets to stand.

All multi bets affected are recalculated without the relevant leg. If the result lands on a flat number as part of a H2H/Total, Line/Total or Margin/Total Double dead heat rules will apply.

NRL rules also apply to the NSW/Qld/Holden Cups, State of Origin, NRL All Star & Charity Shield events, Country vs City and World Club Championships.

b. Postponed/re-arranged matches

If a match is abandoned or postponed and then resumed within 24 hours of the original scheduled date, all bets will stand. After the 24 hours; all single bets will be voided & refunded; Multi bets will be recalculated excluding the odds from the affected event.

If a match commences but is not completed, all bets will be void unless the market has reached an unconditional conclusion. For example the total points is over the required amount or the first Tryscorer is known; however, Last Tryscorer wagers are void.

c. Futures

Premiership / Minor Premiership / Make Grand Final markets are All In Betting. All Teams are considered to be starters regardless of any point deductions due to breaches of rules or regulations. Any decision made by the NRL regarding any loss of a Premiership after the Grand Final has been played, will be deemed null and void, all bets will still stand.

Top 4 / Top 8 / Least Wins are All In Betting. Any Team that has points deducted due to breaches of rules and regulations will be deemed to be a Starter. Any decision made by the NRL regarding the loss of premiership points is final.

Least Wins (Wooden Spoon) pays on the team which records the least wins for the season. A draw is half a win. If more than one team has the same number of wins, the Wooden Spoon will be decided by whoever has the worst ‘For & Against’ record. Premiership points deducted because of breaches of rules & regulations are ignored for resulting purposes.

Miss the 4 / Miss the 8. Any Team that has points deducted due to breaches of rules and regulations will be deemed to be a Starter. However if any team has points deducted which will result in only the one outcome, (i.e. a team WILL Miss the 8); then all bets on that team are void and refunded. All penalty decisions made by the NRL are final.

Any Outright market referring to ‘Regular Season’ applies to all matches played up to but not including the Final or Playoff series.

d. Player Markets

First and Last Tryscorer wagers are refunded if the selected player is not in the official starting 17.

If a Penalty Try is the result for either the First or Last Tryscorer markets but is not offered, the following Tryscorer will be the First Tryscorer winner, while the preceding one will be the Last Tryscorer winner.

For any match statistical markets all nominated players must be in starting 13 for bets to stand. For Player Head to Head markets, both players must be in starting 13 or bets will be voided. For round statistical markets, if a listed player is not in the starting 17, refunds and deductions will apply.

e. Statistical Data

All match statistical data and SuperCoach points will come from the official Foxsports website (http://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/match) except Possession and Completion rates which will be resulted from (http://matchcentre.nrl.com)

All Statistical and SuperCoach markets will be resulted on Tuesdays following the completion of the round .

28. Soccer

a. Acceptance of Bets & Settlement

All soccer bets will be settled on the score at the final whistle at the end of full time. This denotes the period of play after 90 minutes plus any time added by the referee for injuries and other stoppages but does not include scheduled extra time, or penalty shoot-outs, if played. Extra time denotes the period of play which takes place after full time but which does not include any penalty shoot-outs. In matches where penalty shoot-outs or extra time are due to take place, all bets are settled on the full time score unless specifically stated otherwise.

For matches played at neutral venues, the team listed on the left in the match fixture emanating from the relevant governing body of the football competition in question is classed as the ‘home’ team for settlement purposes.

When a match is abandoned before the completion of play (90 mins including stoppage) the Head2Head result will be void unless the leagues governing body within 24 hours declare an official result. All other markets will be void and refunded, except those that have already reached an unconditional conclusion.

b. Postponed/re-arranged matches

If a match is postponed, and not re-scheduled to take place within 24hrs of the original scheduled time, all bets will be voided.

If the venue of a match is different to what we have listed on site, all bets will still stand, except when the match has been switched to the opponent’s home ground, in which case all bets will be voided.

c. Correct Score

Settlement of bets will be based on the final score of a particular match, or on a number of matches, at the end of the period of time in question, be it of 90 minutes duration (including stoppage time) or such time as otherwise specified under the terms of the bet.

d. Halftime / Fulltime Double and Double Chance

Halftime/Fulltime Double Chance bets are settled based on the result of the match at both half time and full time. Bets will be void if a  match is abandoned prior to the completion of 90 minutes play.

Double Chance bets are settled based on two possible outcomes at the end of 90 minutes play (including stoppage time).

e. Home/Away Team Bets

The following applies to Home/Away Team Bets :

Home team and Away team – bet wins if either team wins;

Home team and draw – bet wins if Home team wins or the match is a draw;

Away team and draw – bet wins if Away team wins or the match is a draw.

f. To Win Both Halves

For the purposes of 'To Win Both Halves' bets, a match is treated as two separate 45 minute ‘mini-games’ and the team selected must score more goals than the other team in each of the two halves. For example, if a 45-minute match finishes 1-0, one of the halves must have been 0-0 and one must have been 1-0. Therefore, as the winning team did not actually win both halves, bets on that team to win both halves would be settled as losers.

g. Goalscorer Bets

Own goals are ignored for the settlement of all goalscorer bets. Bets on a player who does not take to the pitch will be void.

For first goalscorer bets, all bets on a player who takes no part in the match or who comes on as a substitute after the first goal has been scored will be void. If a match is abandoned before the first goal is scored, all bets are void. This includes any ‘no goalscorer’ bet. If the match is abandoned after the first goal is scored, all bets will stand. If the only goal scored before the end of full time is an own goal, then ‘no goalscorer’ will be deemed the outcome.

For last goalscorer bets, all bets on a player stand as long as they take to the pitch, regardless of whether they were on the pitch when the last goal was scored. If the only goal scored within 90 minutes is an own goal, then ‘no goalscorer’ will be deemed to have been the outcome.

For anytime, brace or hat-trick goalscorer bets, all bets on a player stand as long as they take to the pitch. Only goals scored during normal time plus stoppage count. Own goals do not count. In the event of an abandoned match all bets will be void, unless bets on a player to score a brace, hat-trick or at any time have already reached an unconditional conclusion.

For last team to score, settlement is based upon the team scoring the last goal before the end of full time. Own goals DO count for this market. For example, if Chelsea are playing Tottenham and the last goal is an own goal by a Tottenham player, Chelsea would be the winner in the ‘last team to score’ market.

Settlement for goalscorer markets will be derived from information supplied by the official governing body of the league in which the bet was struck.

Every effort is made to quote odds for all players for each relevant player market. However if a player is left out, odds are available upon request and they will still count as the winner for that market even if not listed on the Website.

h. Total Goals Odd or Even

All bets will be settled on whether the total number of goals scored before the end of full time will be an odd or an even number. Zero goals will be considered to be ‘even’ for the purpose of this market.

i. Goal Minute and Time Reliant Markets

For settlement purposes, the first minute of a game will be from 1 second to 59 seconds, the 2nd minute from 1 minute to 1 minute 59 seconds and so on. For example, if a bet is placed on the first goal to be scored between 11 and 20 minutes and the first goal is scored at 20 minutes 03 seconds; the bet will be a loser as this falls within the 21 to 30 minutes category.

All goals scored in stoppage time at the end of the first half will be resulted as being in the 45th minute; likewise all goals scored in stoppage time at the end of the second half will be resulted as being in the 90th minute.

For all markets that rely on a specific Time to be settled, the official time shall come from information supplied by the official governing body of the league in which the bet was struck.

j. Over/Under Goal Line

Bets are settled on whether there will be more or less total goals scored before the end of full time than the handicap goal-line stated. If we are offering a “whole number” goal line and the total number of goals equals the goal-line, stakes will be refunded.

k. Scorecasts (first player to score and correct score)

Winning bets will have successfully predicted both the player who will score the first goal in a selected match and also the correct score at the end of full time.

In the event that your selected player takes part in the match after the first goal has been scored or does not take part in the game at all, a scorecast bet will revert to a single bet on the correct score at the price advertised for that single bet at the time the bet was placed.

As own goals do not count for first goalscorer purposes, in the event that the first goal is an own goal the scorecast will be settled on the next goalscorer and correct score of the game. If the final score is 1-0 and the goal is an own goal, scorecast bets are settled as a correct score single as above.

In the event that a match is abandoned prior to the completion of full time and a goal has been scored, scorecast bets will be settled as first goalscorer single bets. If no goal has been scored, all bets will be void.

l. Bookings Markets

Bookings markets are settled by reference to cards shown during the first or second half of the match including injury time but excluding extra time. Cards will only count which are shown to players after they take the pitch for the first time and before they leave the pitch for the final time. Cards shown to non-players (e.g. managers) do not count. Any card shown after the full time whistle has been blown shall be disregarded. If after the final whistle a card shown during a game is rescinded, or reduced to a yellow card from a red card, that will not affect the settlement of any markets involving bookings on the game in question.

A player receiving a red card as a consequence of receiving a second yellow card will in all cases be deemed to have been shown one yellow card and one red card.

For markets involving the time of yellow and red cards, these markets will be settled by reference to the time at which the relevant card is shown.

For booking index bets a yellow card is 10 points and a red card is 25 points. Settlement is determined by adding the points per card issued before the end of full time. A maximum of 35 points can be awarded to any one player.

m. Number of Corners

The total number of corners taken before the end of full time is used for settlement of such bets. Corners awarded but not taken will not count.

n. Half Time Betting

All bets relating to just the first half are settled on the result of the match at half time. Half time denotes the period of play after 45 minutes plus any time added by the referee for injuries and other stoppages. In the event that the match is abandoned prior to half time, bets will be void. However, if the match is abandoned during the half-time interval or during the second half, all bets will stand.

o. Handicap Betting

Handicap bets are settled on the basis that one of the team is given half a goal or more head start. Bets are settled by adding (or subtracting) the goal handicap to the full time result.

With Whole Ball Handicaps if the scores are level after the handicap has been applied it will result in a push that will have the stake returned.

E.g.: Team X -2, Team Y +2

If Team X win 2-0, bets on both Teams X & Y will be a push and be returned.

If Team X win 3-0, bets on Team X will be winners and Team Y will be losers.

If Team X win 1-0, bets on Team X will be losers and Team Y will be winners.

In the case of Half Ball Handicaps, there can be no push result.

E.g.: Team X -1.5, Team Y +1.5

If Team X win 2-0, bets on Team X are winners and Team Y are losers.

If Team X win 1-0, bets on Team X are losers and Team Y are winners.

With all Handicap with Tie betting, martkets are resulted at completion of normal time. If the result lands on the handicap then handicap draw is paid as the winner.

p. Penalty Shoot-outs

All penalty shoot-out markets apply only to the result of a penalty shoot-out. Penalties scored before the completion of full time and/or extra time will not count for the purposes of this market. In the event that a match does not go to a penalty shoot-out, all bets on these markets will be void.

q. Match Bets between Two Players

For match bets between two players (e.g. which player will be booked first, or which player will score more goals) both players must take the field for bets to stand.

r. Extra Time Betting

Extra time betting will be based on the scheduled period of play during extra time.

All extra time betting markets will start from the beginning of extra time and not include normal time (i.e. the time before the end of full time).

s. Man of the Match

When offered, these markets will be settled in accordance with the man of the match award presented by the host broadcaster who covers the match live.

t. Divisional Betting

All bets are settled on the final league placings, regardless of what happens in any divisional play-offs. Bets on ‘who will win’ a particular league will be settled on the team that lifts the trophy. In the event that a team does not complete all of its fixtures, bets will still stand.

In season match bets (which of two teams will place highest in the league at the end of the season), if teams finish level on points then the tiebreaker used by the league in question (for example, goal difference or head-to-head records) will decide the winner.

u. League Top Goal Scorer

Bets placed on a player to be the top scorer in a given league are based on games played in the regular season only. Only goals scored in the denoted league shall count. Any goals scored in subsequent play-off games do not count for betting purposes. Should a player not participate in at least one match in the named league then bets on that player shall be void.

For tournament highest break, only one break per player will count towards the settlement (e.g. Player A scores 141 and 140 in the tournament only the 141 will count towards settlement).

In the event of a player being awarded a frame due to the withdrawal of the opposing player, frame betting, to win 1st frame, to win a nominated frame and all other related markets will be settled as per regular settlement listed above.

For Next Four frames outright and Correct Score, Next Session outright/correct score, if the market is not completed due to the match result having been determined before this point, then bets will be deemed void unless already determined as a losing bet. If all frames are not completed due to time constraints, bets will be settled when play resumes and settlement point is reached.

a. Futures/Outrights

All Futures Markets are 'all in'. If a player does not start the tournament, wagers on that player will be settled as losers. Bets placed on a player after the official draw takes place will be refunded if that player subsequently withdraws from the tournament without playing a point.

Once a player’s first match in a tournament has begun, outright tournament bets on that particular player will stand. If the player then withdraws for any reason, outright bets on the player will be settled as losers. Bets placed on any player after the draw takes place who subsequently withdraws from the tournament without playing a point will be voided and stakes refunded. Markets may be subject to deductions.

For all tournament markets that are offered once the tournament draw has been announced, a player must play at least one point for bets to stand. This includes, but is not limited to; To Reach the Final, Quarter Winners, Name the Finalists, Stage of Elimination, Group Betting and Favourite vs. The Field.

d. Handicap Betting

For the purpose of games handicap markets, a tiebreak counts as one game.

Match/Set Games Handicap betting - A match must reach its full completion for match games handicap bets to stand unless the match is at such a point that any natural conclusion to the match would unconditionally determine the result of that market.

Example - A best of 3 set match is abandoned with the score at 7-6, 6-7, 5-5 in this situation handicap bets of +/- 2.5 Games or more will be resulted and settled as the greatest margin that could occur is a player winning by 2 games. Handicap bets of +/- 1.5 games or less will be voided and stakes refunded.

Set Games Handicap and Set Handicap markets will be resulted and settled in the same way.

Example A - a set is abandoned at 5-5, set games handicap bets of +/- 2.5 games or more will be resulted and settled as the greatest margin that could occur is 2 games. Bets of +/- 2 games or less will be voided and stakes refunded.

Example B - a match is abandoned at 4-6, 6-4. Bets on +/- 1.5 sets will be resulted and settled as the most a player can win by is one set.

e. Totals Betting

For the purpose of total games markets, a tiebreak counts as one game.

A match must reach its full completion for bets on Total Sets and/or Total Games to stand, unless the result has already been unconditionally determined or there is no way the set/and or match could be played to its natural conclusion without unconditionally determining the result of the market.

Example A (Total Sets Markets) - If a player retires at the completion of the 2nd set or during the 3rd set then bets on over/under 2.5 sets will be settled as ‘Over 2.5 Sets’ winning as the match could not have reached a conclusion without a 3rd set being played (similarly if the match is best of 5 sets and a retirement takes place in the 4th or 5th set then ‘over/under 3.5’ sets will be settled with the ‘Over 3.5 Sets’ selection as the winner.

Example B (Total Games Markets) - A best-of-3 sets match is abandoned at 6-3 4-6, bets on Over/Under 24.5 games or fewer in match will be settled as winners/losers respectively, since any natural conclusion to the match would have at least 25 games; bets on Over/Under 25.5 games or more are void.

All in-play bets on totals markets will be voided and stakes refunded, regardless of what stage the match is at, unless the market has already reached an unconditional conclusion.

f. Total Games - Odd/Even

Example - Player A has served 8 Aces when the match is abandoned and the Player Total Aces market is over/under 7.5 Aces. As the total has already exceeded 7.5 Aces the over 7.5 Aces will be settled as a winner, under 7.5 Aces as a loser. This rule applies to all Set, Player and Match total player stats/player props markets.

Any ‘First’ event to happen or ‘first player to’ markets including, but not limited to, First Hawkeye Challenge, First Ace, First Double Fault, First Service Break, First Break Point will be settled and bets will stand if the event has occurred regardless of any subsequent retirements. • Initial Return $10 x $10 = $100.
  • Calculation 91c x $100 = $91.00
  • Less your $10 investment means you now win $81

1. General

2. Abandoned/Postponed/Transferred Meetings

If a meeting is postponed to another date or abandoned, all single wagers are voided and will be refunded.

If a voided leg (a voided leg is an individual event that is part of at least 1 or more other linked events) is part of a Multi-Bet (a Multi-Bet, All up or Parlay is a group of linked single events), the Multi-Bet will stand and be recalculated, excluding the voided leg.

If a meeting is transferred from one course to another, all betting rules will apply and the bet will stand.

“All-In” betting is a bet whereby any bets placed stand whether or not that selection competes in the given event. If the Selection does not compete, the wager is a loser. Deductions do not apply. If a bet has been placed on a Future Event (Future Event is an event prior to the final field being announced) subject to All-In betting and the race is moved from its original date, the bet will stand until the completion of the event.

If a bet is deemed to unfairly advantaged We reserve the right to cancel it. If a bet is placed after a race has begun, We reserve the right to cancel the single bet and recalculate a multi bet, removing the relevant leg.

If a bet is inadvertently accepted after the start time of the event, We reserve the right cancel the bet and, if included in a Multi-Bet, the bet will be recalculated as a Multi-Bet without incorporating the relevant leg

CrownBet reserves the right to cancel Your bets if CrownBet reasonably suspects that tote-based dividends have been manipulated. In the event that We do not cancel Your bet, We reserve the right to apply a payout limit on the bet that does not exceed the dividend declared by Super TAB. If this rule is waived at the discretion of CrownBet, it is not taken to be a precedent in relation to future payouts.

3. Dead Heat Rule

A Dead Heat or Draw occurs when 2 or more Selections are placed in the same position after the final results have been given from a specific event.

If We have not offered the “Draw” or “Dead Heat” Selection for a specific event where there has been a Dead Heat, We will pay the half face value of the ticket (initial stake including the full payout). This will be divided by the number of Selections that were in a draw for that Selection.

If Each Way betting (Each Way betting is two wagers divided in equal stake, one in for the win the other for the place) is available on an event where We have not offered the Draw or Dead Heat Selection, and Selections have finished in the same position, We will pay the place portion of the ticket’s face value and multiply that by the remaining number of places available divided by the number of the Selections that came in the same position.

If CrownBet have offered the “Draw” or “Dead Heat” (may have a different name) selection and there has been a draw in the event, then all Win/Place wagers are losers and the “Draw” selection is the winning wager.

4. Scratchings

In the event a Selection has been Scratched (Scratched is when a selection fails to take its place in a race or event) from a race, this section applies for the Scratched Selection(s):

For all bets placed after the final field has been declared, You will be given a full refund in the event the selection was part of a Multi-Bet the Multi-Bet will stand and be recalculated without regard to the affected leg.

For bets that are placed prior to the Final Field (Final Field is the final runners after the last acceptances have been taking by the relevant racing body) being declared (Future Markets) You will not be eligible for a refund as this bet was placed on an All-In market.

Where there are 8 or more runners in a race, a place shall be paid on First, Second and Third places.

Where there are 7, 6 or 5 runners in a race, a place shall be paid on First and Second places only.

Where there are less than 5 runners, all betting shall be Win only.

5. Deductions

In the event of a scratching, all Fixed Odds bets placed on the Final Field will be subject to deduction. The deduction rate will be applied based on the fixed odds of the scratched selection at the time the selection has been removed from the market. The deduction will be based on face value of the entire ticket. For example:

If you have $5 to win on a 6.0 winner – and total win Deductions are 16c in the dollar:

  • This means you will receive 84c in every dollar of the Face Value of the ticket.
  • Face Value: $5 x 6.0 = $30.
  • Reduced Face Value: $30 x .84c = $25.20
  • Less your $5 outlay leaves a win profit of $20.20.

In the event multiple runners are scratched from an individual race a combined deduction of multiple runners maybe applied depending on the time of the bet and the time of the individual Deductions.

6. Official Results

All bets will be settled on the official result declared by the racecourse (Official Result).

Where a result is amended after the Official Result (for example following a successful appeal) the amendment will be ignored for the purposes of Settlement (Settlement is the final payout once an event is finalised). If a winner is disqualified after the Official Result, the disqualification will not affect Settlement. However, if a Horse is disqualified for any reason before the official result is announced, all bets on that horse will be deemed losing bets.

We reserve the right to limit any individuals/groups, so that the payout on any bet type does not exceed the largest relevant pool size on any bet type in any location.

All bets are subject to Our “Betting Limits”.

14. Racing Bet Types

a. Win/Place/Each Way

In races that feature eight or more Selections, We will pay place dividends on the first, second and third Placings (Placing is the order in which selections finish).

In races in which there are seven, six or five selections We will pay place dividends for first and second Placings only.

In the event a field is reduced to less than 5 runners due to scratching(s) any fixed odds place wagers will stand with deductions to apply.

All Payouts are subject to the CrownBet “Betting Limits”.

All bets placed that involve Fixed odds, SP or Top Fluc are subject to Deductions.

b. Multi-Bets

If a Selection is scratched, abandoned, or does not start for any reason, CrownBet may recalculate the final dividend excluding that leg if the leg is not for an “All In” betting event.

A Related Multi Bet is a bet where legs have some form of relationship between each other (e.g. Hawthorn Hawks in a Head to Head into Hawthorn Total Points). CrownBet reserves the right to void and refund a bet if legs are related in a Multi Bet.

The maximum payout for a racing/sports Multi Bet or combination of Multi bets that contains a harness or greyhound leg is $25,000. The Maximum Payout for a horse racing/sports Multi Bet is $250,000. It is the client's responsibility to ensure they stake accordingly to the limits.

 c. Quinella

A Quinella is achieved if You Select the two runners that place first and second in any order.

We pay the dividend declared by Super TAB for all meetings except meetings that are featured in NSW or the ACT that are paid at NSW TAB dividends. If a Dead Heat occurs, We will pay all dividends and combinations declared by the relevant TAB.

If a selected runner is declared a 'non-runner' or is scratched after the bet is confirmed, bets will be refunded on every combination which includes the scratched runner and the bet will be re-calculated without the scratched runner.

Flexi Betting is available where the total stake divided by the number of combinations calculates the percentage.

In the event of a Jackpot (Jackpot is when there is no winning dividend declared as no winning combination was successful in the relevant TAB), a dividend is calculated by taking the relevant TAB Jackpot and dividing it by the number of $1.00 winning units. Where the total number of winning units held by CrownBet is less than one, the flexi % held is multiplied over the jackpot amount to determine the dividend.

All Quinella Payouts are subject to the CrownBet “Betting Limits”.

All bets placed that involve Fixed odds, SP or Top Fluc are subject to Deductions.

d. Exacta

An Exacta is achieved if You Select the two runners that place first and second in the correct order.

For Australian, Asian, New Zealand and South African racing we pay the dividend declared by Super TAB for all meetings except meetings that are featured in NSW or the ACT that are paid at NSW TAB dividends. If a Dead Heat occurs, We will pay all dividends and combinations declared by the relevant TAB.

For UK and Irish racing we pay the CSF (Computer Straight Forecast) dividend.

In the event of a Jackpot, a dividend is calculated by taking the relevant TAB Jackpot and dividing it by the number of $1.00 winning units. Where the total number of winning units held by CrownBet is less than one, the flexi % held is multiplied over the jackpot amount to determine the dividend.

All Exacta payouts are subject to the CrownBet “Betting Limits”

All bets placed that involve Fixed odds, SP or Top Fluc are subject to Deductions.

e. Trifecta

A Trifecta is achieved if You Select the three runners that place first, second and third in the correct order.

For Australian, Asian, New Zealand and South African we pay the dividend declared by Super TAB for all meetings except meetings that are featured in NSW or the ACT that are paid at NSW TAB dividends. If a Dead Heat occurs, We will pay all dividends and combinations declared by the relevant TAB.

For UK and Irish racing we pay the relevant computer tricast dividend.

If a selected runner is declared a 'non-runner' or is scratched after the bet is confirmed, bets will be refunded on every combination which includes the scratched runner and the bet will be re-calculated without the scratched runner.

Flexi Betting is available where the percentage is calculated by the total stake divided by the number of combinations.

All Trifecta payouts are subject to the CrownBet “Betting Limits”

All bets placed that involve Fixed odds, SP or Top Fluc are subject to Deductions.

f. First Four

A First Four is achieved if You Select the four runners that place first, second, third and four in the correct order.

Flexi Betting is available where the percentage is calculated by the total stake divided by the number of combinations.

All First Four payouts are subject to the CrownBet “Betting Limits”

All bets placed that involve Fixed odds, SP or Top Fluc are subject to Deductions.

g. Giant 6

A Giant 6 is achieved if You Select the declared winners in the six consecutive listed races on a Giant 6 (A Giant 6 card is a pre-selected 6). A consolation dividend is paid by nominating the successful first-place winning runner of the first five consecutive races only, without selecting the winner of the final race on the Giant 6 race card. Multiple consolation dividends will be paid if the wager contains two or more selections in the final race that were not the winning runner.

Flexi Betting is available, whereby the percentage is calculated by the total stake divided by the number of combinations.

We pay the dividend declared by Super TAB for all meetings except meetings that are featured in NSW or the ACT that are paid at NSW TAB dividends. If a Dead Heat occurs, We will pay all dividends and combinations declared by the relevant TAB.

If a Selected runner is declared a 'non-runner' or is scratched after the bet is confirmed, the removed runner will be replaced by the relevant TAB substitute.

In the event that no dividend is declared by the relevant TAB and You have successfully Selected the winning Giant 6 combinations, then the dividend We declare will be equal to the total dollar amount of the pool held by the relevant TAB divided by the total amount of winning units held by Us.

If a Giant 6 event contains races from more than one venue in more than one state of Australia, the dividend will be based on the Super Tab if the majority of the races are from Super TAB listed meetings (CrownBet pays the dividend declared by Super Tab for all meetings except those meetings that are featured in NSW or the ACT which are paid at NSW Tab dividends). If the majority of races are based in NSW or ACT then CrownBet will pay the NSW Tab dividend.

If four or more races are abandoned and/or declared No Races, We will refund all wagers. If any of the final three races are abandoned or declared a No Race, We will pay the dividend declared by the relevant TAB. The Consolation Dividend will not be paid in the event of any race cancellation or abandonment.

15. Betting Limits

All amounts are expressed in Australian Dollars.

If We pay an amount greater to the listed limit We reserve the right to amend the bet to the correct listed payout. If We pay out an amount greater than the listed limit and decides not to amend the payout this does not set a precedent in relation to future such payouts.

When one or more TABs declare a dividend based on a commission decrease lower than 114%, We reserve the right to pay out the higher of the remaining TABs. For example, if TAB (A) bet declares a dividend with a reduced commission then the top dividend shall be the higher of TAB (B) or TAB (C).

On any bet type in any location, We reserve the right to limit any individuals/groups so that the payout on any bet type does not exceed the largest relevant pool size.

In the event CrownBet deems a multiple clients to be working as a Group We reserve the right to apply the maximum win limits across multiple Accounts collectively.

We reserve the right to cancel Your bets if We suspect You have manipulated the tote-based dividends. If We do not cancel Your bets We reserve the right to apply a payout limit on the bets that does not exceed the better dividend of the remaining two TABs. If this rule is waived at CrownBet’s discretion it does not set a precedent to the client in relation to future payouts.

Top Fluc bets are to win a maximum of $20,000. If a Your winnings are in excess of $20,000 then the balance of the stake that would result in winning in an excess of $20,000 will be placed at the official bookmaker’s starting price.

Notwithstanding any of the above betting limits, We reserve the right to limit Your total payout on any bet type on any single event if Our total payout on any bet type exceeds the largest relevant tote pool. If We pay out greater than the listed limit and decides not to amend the payout then this does not set a precedent in relation to such payouts.

All maximum payout limits apply to You, or, where we have genuine reason to believe a group of clients have been acting in concert, to a group of Members including You. 17. Place Cards

A Place Card is achieved if You Select a declared placegetter in four specified race. Upon Selecting the four Selections You will receive a fixed odds quote that is calculated by adding each individual Selections odds together.

In fields of 5, 6 or 7 runners, only horses that place 1st and 2nd are deemed to be eligible for a winning Place Card.

In fields of 8 or more runners, horses that run 1st, 2nd or 3rd are deemed to be eligible for a winning Place Card.

Where there is a late scratching and the field is reduced to 7 runners or less, the above Rules will apply for all wagers taken after the official late scratching time. For wagers placed on fields of 8 or more prior to the official late scratching time, 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings will count towards the Place Card.

If Your Selection in 1 leg is scratched, it becomes a 3-race Place Card and the dividend is calculated by adding the odds of the remaining 3 legs. If 2 or more of Your Selections are scratched, the Place Card is cancelled and the wager will be refunded.

In fields of 8 or more runners, if there is a Dead Heat for 3rd place in any of the 4 designated races, the odds are halved for each horse that has placed in a Dead Heat for that leg and added to the other 3 legs. In the case of triple Dead Heats, one-third of the odds will be added to the other 3 legs.

1. Objective

The objective of the Code is to provide a robust framework for mandatory Sports Bookmaker regulation in relation to the provision of DSF to ensure this funding option accords with the promotion of responsible gambling while allowing Sports Bookmaker’s to remain competitive against offshore, unlicensed wagering operators.

Go to: Website Terms   Rewards Terms  General Rules  Bonus Bet   Sports  Racing  Credit Terms   Credit Information  Privacy Policy  DSF Code Of Practice Top

2. Industry Standards

The following minimum standards must be adhered to by Sports Bookmakers for all customers who open an account with a Sports Bookmaker after the commencement of the operation of the Code (other than for professional and VIP punters and bookmakers ‘laying off’ bets who, for the avoidance of doubt will not be covered by this Code).

A “professional and VIP punter” is defined as a person who has turned over at least $250,000 in any 12 month period, or whose betting patterns reasonably suggest that such person will turn over at least $250,000 in a 12 month period.

1. The DSF must be applied for. Sports Bookmakers must not offer a DSF on an unsolicited basis and no incentives or promotional offers are to be offered to encourage customers to open a DSF.

2. Sports Bookmakers can only advertise the provision of a DSF on the provider’s own website, in the ordinary course of business through its Business Development Managers (or equivalent) or in Electronic Direct Marketing (EDM) with members who have agreed to receive such materials.

3. Either the Sports Bookmaker or an independent external assessment institution must undertake an appropriate Deferred Settlement assessment of an application for a DSF. Such checks must include:

  1. Verification of identity in accordance with Anti-Money Laundering requirements;
  2. Confirmation of age;
  3. Confirmation of current residential address;
  4. Contact details including phone and email address; and
  5. Assess Deferred Settlement worthiness by establishing employment or source of income or by other means.

4. Settlement of the account is to occur weekly or monthly. Monthly settlement may only occur with facilities over $20,000 (although such facilities may still be settled in a shorter timeframe).

5. A wagering provider cannot charge interest on the account or charge any fees for the administration of the account.

7. Facilities cannot be approved for any customer whose account verification process has not been finalised.

12. The Sports Bookmaker must maintain a register of all customers that have an approved DSF.

13. The Sports Bookmaker must review an existing DSF where there has been a failure to repay by a scheduled settlement date to ensure that limit remains appropriate.
